Description

The story for this version of the game abandons the 1966 movie's Cold War plot. Instead, players simply controls a miniaturized surgeon attempting to cure a patient from inside his body. The surgeon's submarine breaks apart soon after injection and the surgeon's tools are limited without it (but the patient can still be kept alive). Once the pieces of the submarine are located and reassembled, actual surgery on the patient can be performed with the sub's scalpel tool. The sub's energy comes from red blood cells which must be harvested to keep the sub operational. Enemies include bacteria, cholesterol blockages, viruses, and blood clots. The patient's temperature is always in danger of rising to lethal level and lowers when enemies are eliminated.
